Another fine hotel in Lekki situated right along the ever busy and popular Admiralty Way is the Eagles at Lekki Hotel. Approximately 15 minutes away from the beach, 10 minutes to the nearest cinema and right across the road from a mini shopping mall. In spite of being on the Estate’s main road, the atmosphere inside is quiet and serene.
Established sometime in 2015 the Eagles at Lekki Hotel has 14 affordable, comfortably furnished, non smoking rooms; split into Standard, Superior, Deluxe categories.
Just so I could have a fresh pair of eyes on this one I booked a friend into the standard room of this boutique hotel. My friend and I had drinks at the newly redecorated pool bar (which is also the designated smoking area) and lunch in the Fufu restaurant. As it turns out, we are both in agreement that the atmosphere and food was more than adequate.
Along with the Fufu restaurant is another restaurant that serves continental and African dishes, a cozy bar and lounge, 24hour broadband internet access and meeting room with 25 person capacity, ample parking space, laundry plus car hire. As for security there are guards, electrified barbed wire and CCTV cameras around the property.
‘The staff is polite and trained to go the extra mile in offering a personalized service that ensures the hotel feels like home away from home.’ This was my friend’s verdict after one night’s stay and a filling complimentary breakfast. He was also told to watch out for the hotel’s special offers from time to time – like the pay the full rate and get an extra night free promo that happened during Easter.
