I’ve thought long and hard about my impressions on the Zasarii Hotels and concluded that my immense size and height is responsible for my perspective.
I like wide open spaces but the first thing I noted coming into the hotel was the lack of a proper compound or parking space. If you plan to stay there with a large number of friends, it’s probably best you don’t drive your own cars. Granted the hotel is located in the Chevy View Estate, which has a quiet and safe neighborhood, so parking off premises is entirely possible.
Speaking of location, the Zasarii Hotels is within walking distance of the Chevron Nigeria Headquarters, about five minutes away from the Lekki Conservation Center and approximately ten minutes away from the nearest beach.
The bar and restaurant are adjacent to the lobby and are not the biggest I’ve seen but the décor is exquisite and well thought out.
Through the bar there’s a door to the swimming pool which is so small I can cross it in two or three strokes. Despite the size; the pool side with its faux grass carpeting and deck chairs is still capable of such serenity, it’s perfect for unwinding after a long hard day. This totally makes up for not having a garden or lounge area.
The rich furnishing continues to the rooms which are clean and comfortable but if an above average tall person wants to spend the night, I suggest upgrading to the rather affordable Deluxe rooms with a King sized bed. If you are not alone then it should be the Diplomatic suites with the large king sized mattress and two seat sofas. The standard room has a queen sized bed so it’s either the fetal position or lying down diagonally on the bed. Zasarii Hotels is the first hotel I’ve visited in a while that has a policy allowing pets on the premises and in the rooms. Making them perfect for animal lovers.
Guests have access to the Hotel’s Wi-Fi from anywhere on the premises and the multipurpose hall seats between 30-50 people depending on the style of arrangement. There are laundry services on request, a non-alcoholic mini bar and apparently the hotel runs tours to all major attractions.
There is no gym on the premises but there is a fully functional one in the neighborhood. If you find the menu below par there are quite a few notable restaurants in the area. I only met three members of staff and they seemed pleasant enough.
All in all, I would say Zasarii Hotel has earned and deserves its three star rating.
