You might think this sounds bizarre coming from someone who loves to write and travel but there are times when the two just don’t go together. I have gathered several years’ worth of content but transferring them to the pages of this blog can be tiresome and my least favorite part of the experience (it’s the same with doing laundry; I love it but hate to iron).
Just imagine saving up for a Caribbean getaway, working on the itinerary yourself (cause I like to be involved like that), booking the flights, hotels and tour packages. You go on the trip of a lifetime and which you have to cram into one week because that’s all you can afford or all the time you can take off work. When you get back it’s almost no surprise you are cranky and irritable and not the least bit rested from your ‘relaxing’ vacation. Small wonder you decide not to relive it too soon and stay away from the blog and the photos you took.
Regardless of my bellyaching, it isn’t fair to withhold the stories one day longer than necessary. Some people never get to go away on holiday and live vicariously through their favorite travel bloggers. That’s why I have decided to suck it up and put out all the pending posts, photos and videos. Over the next couple of weeks I will take y time and catch y’all up on the last 6 years.
On a side note – I have put together a few packages for summer 2017 and I’m just waiting on my graphics guy before I break the news. WATCH OUT!
