I live less than five minutes away from this 3 star hotel in Lekki that opened for business in 2015. It’s an impressive structure, just off the road from the Lekki – Ajah expressway. The Eastgate Hotel is located a minute’s drive away from the Chevron toll gate, a minute away from the Lekki Conservation Center and 6 minutes away from the nearest Beach.
This opulent establishment has a total of 57 elegantly furnished rooms in standard, executive, studio and suite categories.
The hotel’s overall cleanliness is excellent; it also has a swimming pool with a lifeguard/swimming instructor on standby, a terrace bar overlooking the pool which is perfect for after work drinks or the sports lovers who watch football on the big screen TV and a gym that was under construction during my visit.
Other facilities include the Event Hall which has a 300 sitting capacity and a meeting room can sit up to a 100 people making the former perfect for seminars or wedding receptions and the latter perfect for board meetings and staff training sessions. The restaurant offers local and Continental dishes while the bar is well stocked with a variety of drinks and cocktails available.
The Eastgate Hotel has uninterrupted power, the customer service is excellent, the premises are secured by uniformed guards and CCTV cameras, there is a central fire alarm and regularly serviced smoke detectors and fire extinguishers located all around.
