Opened in 2015, the Extended Stay Grand Hotel has a total of 9 rooms divided into 3 categories – Standard, Deluxe and Executive. Each room has a novelty name like Walnuthill, Springcreek, Chaseoaks etc and access to free 24 hour Wi-Fi, comfortable modern décor, a writing desk and flat screen TV with Satellite channels. There is a complimentary breakfast on offer but only for guests who pay the full rates.
There’s an obvious space challenge so very little parking space, no swimming pool and no gym. The restaurant/bar and indoor lounge are also small but comfortably furnished with a mini library and colorfully populated aquarium adding to the ambience. What this boutique hotel lacks in size it makes up for in quality service, standard rooms and the in house chef who can whip up any number of traditional and Continental dishes.
A thorough inspection of the menu revealed a list of comparatively priced dishes. Guests can choose to enjoy a meal or peruse the day’s newspapers at the outdoor lounge beside the water fountain on the premises. Next door is a snazzy spa, salon, and tailor. Imagine that! During your stay you can have an outfit made, get a facial or pedicure, fix your hair, go out for a meeting and end your day with a relaxing deep tissue massage.
