Located at 48/50 Awoyokun Street, Onipanu the Neighbourhood Exquisite Hotel was opened in December 2015. Access to this budget hotel is pretty straight forward once one enters through the popular Onipanu bus stop. It is in a residential area and walking distance from many food vendors, 8 minutes away from the Jibowu garage and 12 minutes away from the Tejuosho market.
The Neighbourhood Exquisite Hotel has a total of 17 rooms in three categories Single, Standard and Deluxe. Each room is non-smoking and has a flat screen television with cable stations, a writing desk, an air conditioner and an en suite bathroom. In addition there is a mini restaurant that can seat up to ten people at once. The menu is a simple one and consists of affordable local dishes. At the time I visited the hotel the bar was under construction but there is an impressive drinks menu on hand. Every Friday a live band performs and the drinks sell for 20% off from 7pm – 12am.
There is enough space on the premises to park ten cars and CCTV cameras on watch both inside and out. The Neighbourhood Exquisite Hotel has high walls, barbed wire and uniformed guard securing its perimeter. There is a fire exit, smoke detectors and regularly serviced fire extinguishers along the corridors and reception area. I recommend this hotel mostly for short stay travelers on a budget either on business or for a function.
