Previously known as Cata Apartments the establishment is approximately 12 minutes away from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport. Surrounded by banks, supermarkets and other types of businesses its entrance at first glance is unassuming.
What to expect
Opened in 2011 the Nne Eka Residence has 20 rooms in all; split into 6 single rooms and 14 self-catering one bedroom apartments. All rooms are en-suite and come with a comfortable bed, air conditioner, complimentary Wi-Fi, safety deposit box, satellite television, armchair, writing desk, coffee/tea making set. The apartments have an extra TV in the living area, a sofa bed, microwave oven, electric cooker, mini fridge, armchairs and coffee table.
I found myself captivated by the other facilities at the Nne Eka Residence primarily the Spa; which offers authentic Thai massages, facials, Sauna, aromatherapy etc. and the well-equipped gym.
There’s also a standard swimming pool, laundry services, bar/lounge and restaurant. Given the self-catering nature of the apartments it is understandable that the restaurant is moderate in size. The menu however consists of comparatively priced Nigerian and Continental cuisine.
Guests with a green thumb will appreciated the abundance of potted flora and the little garden on the premises. High walls, uniformed guards and CCTV cameras provide security and the parking space is limited to one car per apartment. Fire safety is also a priority as extinguishers and smoke detectors can be found all around the premises.
