Located at 1686a Oladele Olashore Street off Sanusi Fafunwa Street, this hotel in Victoria Island is situated in a business district, in close proximity to Shaunz Karaoke Bar, various restaurants, lounges, nightclubs and banks.
Established in 2012, the Belaggio Suites has 14 non-smoking rooms each with a beautiful painting, flat screen TV with multiple Cable channels, mini fridge and 24 hour Wi-Fi access. The rooms are in 3 categories – single, standard and executive.
There is a gym (not a lot of space or equipment), a Jacuzzi and swimming pool at the back with lots of space which is frequently used for a parties, meetings and wedding receptions plus ample parking in front and uniformed security guards.
This boutique hotel offers guests a complimentary breakfast and the day’s newspapers but sadly the restaurant’s menu during my visit was filled with uninspired local cuisine. This is not a deal breaker however, when you realize how competitive the rates are. Bottom line: it is a great place for travelers of all kinds to comfortably retire for the night after the day’s business.
