Opened in September 2016, Emmy Hotel & Suites is a boutique hotel with a total of 25 non-smoking rooms in three categories; Standard, Deluxe and Suites. The standard and deluxe rooms might feel a bit cramped because all rooms possess the same wide framed Queen sized bed, mini fridge, writing desk, Flat screen TV with cable stations and air conditioner. The suites however come with an ante room complete with a flat screen TV, sofa and coffee table.
There is a restaurant and bar but the catering has been outsourced and the menu is basic Nigerian fare. Meals are also served at the spacious outdoor bar which has canopies and four large flat screen televisions; perfect for watching sports matches. The bar at this hotel in Nigeria also has a grill that offers barbecued fish and an assortment of peppered meats.
Other facilities at Emmy Hotel & Suites included a VIP lounge, the proposed gym and the standard sized swimming pool with its beautiful murals. The whole place is surrounded by high walls, an electric fence, strategically placed CCTV cameras and secured by uniformed guards and a regular patrol of mobile police.
