This particular 4 star boutique hotel in Victoria Island is located at 200c Etim Inyang Crescent and was opened much later than the Teslim Elias Close branch in November 2014. The attention to detail, class and quality is the same in both Morning Side hotels with only a few minor differences in the facilities.
This Morning Side Suites has a spa and a resident massage therapist, the gym is the next door over so you can hop into the steam box right after a workout session. Sadly, there is no swimming pool, multi-purpose hall or garden.
However, there is 24 hour Wi-Fi, 18 elegantly decorated, non-smoking rooms each with a writing desk, Coffee/Tea station, safety deposit box, mini fridge and flat screen television; divided into four different categories – Classic, Business, Executive and Suites.
For guests who wish to entertain there is a private bar next to the slightly larger restaurant, bar and lounge. When necessary the space of the restaurant, bar and lounge has been transformed into an intimate wedding reception and birthday party area. The menu consists of African, Continental, Indian and Chinese cuisine and in keeping up with the promise of one on one service to make guests feel like family; long term guests can get a customized menu.
The Morning Side Suites and Spa is aesthetically pleasing and the perfect place for the traveler who is keen on privacy. It is also quite secure with its high walls, electrified barb wire and uniformed guards. There’s adequate parking available within and in front of the premises and it is centrally located and a short drive from several Island based banks, restaurants, malls and clubs.
